LANDOWNER FINED £SO.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN- CORRESPONDENT. ] ROTORUA, Monday

At the Potorua Magistrate's Court today, Richard Randall Keene, of Waipukurau, an absentee land owner, was fined £SO for failing to destroy rabbits on an area of 29,000 acres at Murupara. On the application of counsel defendant was allowed until March 27 for payment of the fine.
