In a 15-rounds professional contest last evening for a purse of • '.50/ Les Murray (9at 12lb), beat Eugene \ olaire (10at Tib) on points. It was a clean and fast exhibition. Murray was more aggressive and did most of the loading, and won two-thirds of the rounds. Volaire made a good fight, but Murray boxed up to his best form and finished quite fresh.
