CONVERSION OF A CAR.

CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG MAN

A plea of not guilty was entered by James Reginald Purdy. aged 23 (Mr. Dickson), when charged in the Police Court on Saturday with unlawfully converting a motor-car to his use. Sergeant Calwell said accused had four previous convictions for theft. Mr. Dickson asked for a remand until next Friday, which was granted, bail being fixed at £SO.
