CONFERENCE IN „AUCKLAND. VISITORS FROM AUSTRALIA. - The annual conference of the Congregational Union of New, (Zealand will be held this year in Auckland from March 10 to 17. The- conference is expected to be one, of the most important held for some years. A particularly strong delegation is expected- from Australia, including the .Rev. J. D. James, of the Collins" Street Independent ■ 'Church, Melbourne,, and the Rev. Gordon Robertson, chairman of the Congregational Union of New South Wales.. Mr. Robertson's was the first child born in the Beresford Street manse, Auckland. His father, the Rev. Josenh Robertson, . was at one time pastor of that church. v
