BAND PERFORMANCES.

The Municipal Band will play at the Zoological Park to-morrow afternoon at three o'clock. ■ The fine programme to be presented includes Rossini's " I/Italiatia in Algiori'' overture, cornet solo, "A Perfect Day " (soloist Mr. Fred Bowes); selection, " The Gondoliers," sketch, "The Mill ,in the Black Forest," morceau, " Crushed Petals," selection, "La Boutique Fantasque," and stirring marches and popular hymn tunes. The Temperance Guards Band will play at Ellersfie racecourse to-morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, when a select programme of mosic will be given. A demonstration of marching will he given by the Auckland Artillery Band at the Domain to-morrow afternoon at three o'clock. An attractive programme of music will also be given. The band made a reputatioa for marching at the New Zealand band contests last year, and it is expected that it will perform equally well this year at the Dunedin competitions A select' programme of music will be given by the Port Auckland Band (Inc.) at Point Chevalier Reserve to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
