MORRINSVILLE NEWS.
BOWLING CLUB'S TOURNEY. A special meeting of the Morrinsville Borough Council decided to retain Wednesday as the- half-holiday. The Morrinsville Bowling Club held a full-rink tournament on Friday and Saturday. Eight teams competed. The resuits were:—J. Sseott. (sk), 5 wins, 2 losses; 11. Branch (sk.), 5 wins, 2 losses; S. H. Cornish (sk). 4 wins, 3 losses; H. Bint (sk). 4 wins. 3 losses); E. Moucrief (sk.), 3 wins, 4 losses; R. H. N. Morpeth '(sk.). 3 wins, 4 losses; B. O'Brien (sk.), 2 wins, 4 losses; A. 0. Yardley (sk), 2 wins. 4 losses. Branch and Scott will play off. The tournament was the most enjoyable and successful yet run by the club.
