'• Tht double-page is ctavoted to pictures of Now Zealand's fiordland in which a power scheme costing £5,000,000 is to bo developed. The scenes convey an excellent idea of the district and its capacity for developing a hydro-electric scheme on a very comprehensive scale. Prominent among many striking subjects are the illustrations dealing with the Auckland Anniversary Kegatta. Always spectacular the great annual' yachting pageant was probably more picturesque than ever this year. All that was best in the fine series of aquatic pictures presented is placed on record, making a • -fitting souvenir of a memorable day. Additional interest is lent to the . issue by the reproduction of incidents in' the day's work on H.M.S. Diomede, the latest addition to the New Zealand division of thu Eoyal Navy. Other topical subjects dealt .with pictorially include scenes at the.
