TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Air. H. M. Vincent last evening;— The weather will be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following, especially in western and southern districts. Northerly to north-westerly winds, strong and squally Seas rough. Barometer, midnight, 30.00 in.; steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows: —Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds veering to northerlies northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and westerly to northerly winds elsewhere; weather warm and hazy generally, and showery on the west coast and southernmost districts.
