LAD'S BODY RECOVERED. DANGEROUS BATHING SPOT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE AWAMUTU. Monday. Tho body of the lad Victor Hall, who was drowned while bathing with several companions in the Mangapiko stream last Thursday, afternoon, was recovered yesterday morning about 300 yds. down the stream. At an inquest a verdict of accidental. drowning was returned. The coroner, Mr. J. B. Teasdale, added that the fatality should be, a warning to ali bathers to avoid such a dangerous ; place. He was surprised that • a party of (bathers should go there whpn there were public swimming baths. in Te Awamutu.
