LOST FOR OVER 50 YEARS.

COLONY OP POLISH FOLK. DESCENDANTS DISCOVERED. HOME IN BRAZILIAN VALLEY. By Tolegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Reutor RIO DE JANIERO, Jan. 23. The discovery of a lost Polish colony, comprising 1000 people, in the Doce River Valley, Espiritu Santo, Brazil, is reported by a Polish naturalist, M. Stanislaus Przyjemski. The colony had been lost since 1873. The discoverer says he found the Poles grouped in complete isolation. They still speak the Polish language. The original settlers are dead and their children and grandchildren have no knowledge of their relatives nor of their mother country.
