ENCOURAGING THE JERSEYS. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] MATAMATA. Saturday. The forthcoming Matamata Agricultural and Pastoral show promises to be more than ordinarily successful. A striking feature is that through the instrumentality of the Matamata Jersey Breeders' Club substantial donations have been made for the Jersey classes. The president of the club, Mr. M. Shaw, states that he has already received promises from Hamilton that some of the best Jersey stock in the Waikato will be entered.
