WEDDINGS.

Ab the-Church of the Holy Sepulchre on January 12 the marriage of Miss Kathleen Norah Miller, fifth daughter of Mr, and Mrs. James Miller, of Morningside, to Mr» Henry Gordon, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Cunningham, of Glenmore, was solemnised. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore white satin beaute, trimmed with silver lace and pearl ornaments. Her tulle veil fell from a coronet of silver lace and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations, sweet sultans and pink roses. Her bridesmaids, Miss Doris Miller, sister of the bride, and Miss Hilda Cunningham, sister of tho bridegroom, were frocked alike in tunic frocks of white printed silk georgette over shell pink silk, with drooping hats of white georgette, with pink flowers and lavender streamers. Both carried bouquets of pink and lavender flowers to tone with frocks. The bride's' mother wore beige French crepe de chine with hat of brown and gold to tone and earned a posy of deep rod roses and maidenhair fern. Tho bridegroom's mother wore a black brocaded ' crepe de chine, with black and white hat, and carried _a posy of pink sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Victor Cunningham, as best man and Mr. Francis Miller, brother of j the bride as groomsman. A reception was i held after the' ceremony, Tho wedding was solemnised fit Kumara, "West Coast, of tho All Black footballer, Mr. Jack Steel, second son of Mr. and Mrs. James Steel, of Greymouth, to Miss Maggie Johnsen, fourth daughter of Mr, and Mrs. H. Jolinsen, of Kumara, says the Christchurch Press. Miss Marion Steel was bridesmaid, and Mr. H. Johnsen was best man. The Rev. T. N* Cnttlo performed tho ceremony.
