During the last week a great deal of beneficial warm rain ha? fallen in the Thames Valley and Hauraki Plains, thereby assuring a bountiful supply of autumn and winter feed. The plains land had in no way suffered by the dry spelj, but the bill country and the lighter land on the Waihi Plains were showing the effects. Although December i was a very dry month the Dairy Company reports that the simply of butter-fat increased by i20,0301b. as compared with the Deecember supply in the previous season.
