SCHNEIDER CUP RACE.

LACK OK COMPETITION. POOR PROSPECTS FOR THIS YEAR LONDON,, Jan. 13. • The Aero Club has cabled to the United States stating that it is impossible for Great Britain to organise a team to enter for the Schneider Cup in 1926. The Daily News says France and Italy also will not enter. Therefore, the Americans will only need to fly over the course to win the cup outright.

However, the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, the governing body of aviation, will not object to a postponement of the contest until 1927, and it is therefore hoped that America will agree, preferring a race to a. walk-over.
