CRICKET ASSOCIATION.

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. EASTER MATCHES ARRANGED. The Management Committee of the Auckland Cricket Association met last evening, Mr. N. C. Sneddon presiding. The North Taranaki Cricket Association wroto stating that Good Friday and Easter Saturday would be convenient dates for a match in Auckland against a good Auckland representative side. The dates were agreed to. Another match is to be played at Eden Park on the same days. A combined team from the three minor associations in the Auckland Province, Waikato, Wadapt! and Poverty Bay will play another Auckland team. The association hopes to make this an annual fixture to assist the selectors in seeing country talent.

A request from the Poverty Bay Association for a match had to be declined. Owing to the two games at Easter and the i-rip to Wellington, the association could not get a. team away, but it decided to invito Poteitj Bay to renew the application next season. It was decided to .play competition matches all day on; Anniversary Cay, January 29.
