[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE, Friday. A meeting of the committee of the Cambridge Trotting Club was held in the secretary's office last evening to make arrangements for the hnniial race fixture. Mr. V. J. Cornaga, president, wail in the chair. It was reported that rumours were current that the club was undecided where this year's fixture would be held. The meeting definitely decided on the Cambridge course, fixing April 17 as the date. The Stakes were inoreased to £IOOO, being an increase of £3OO oil the first totalisator meeting last year. A member his donated a 25-guinea cup for the principal race. The programme will consist of eight events. Improvements to the course will be pushed ahead. The totalisator house is to be shifted, allowing considerably more accommodation for the public between the totalisator and the grandstand.
