CONDUCT ON BEACHES.

COMPLAINT AT MURIWAI., Complaints have been received as to a certain amount of drinking that has been going on in some of the camps at Muriwai Beach and cases of unseemly behaviour have been brought under the notice of the Mot'utara Domain Board, which controls the reserve adjoining the Beach. The board has expressed its determination to put. a stop to such practices which are likely to affect the popularity of the beach and domain and will take steps in the future. The board also takes exception to fast driving, • particularly by motor-cyclists, on the road through the domain, the noise of open cut-outs having proved very objectionable.
