LONG MOTOR-CYCLE TEST.
CALM WOMEN PASSENGERS. LONDON. Dec 30. Over 350 mud-bespattered participants in. the Staines-Exter motor-cycle test, which began on Monday night, finished the 340 miles' journey within the permitted 10 minutes' margin of the stipulated time. Some women passengers in side-cars, who were knitting when the contest started, were si,ill knitting at* their journey's end.
