SHARP EARTHQUAKE.
A PANIC IN COLOGNE. NO SERIOUS DAMAGE CAUSED. Router. COLOGNE* Jtvn 6. An earthquake shock occurred at 12.40 this morning. It lasted five seconds. The buildings shook violently, and many people rushed into the streets without dressing and spent the remaining hours until daylight in the open. The damage is slight. Only districts adjacent to the Rhine were affected.
