MOTOR-BUS TRANSPORT.
THE CONTROL REGULATIONS. CONFERENCE IN FEBRUARY. [BV TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. A conference is to be held on February 4, at which various parties interested will discuss the draft regulations for the control of public transport by means of motor-buses. The regulations were discussed at a recent meeting of motor-bus proprietors, and the opinions then expressed indicated spirited hostility toward tho proposed new rules. Attending tho conference on February 4 will be the proprietors of tramways, the principal vehicle licensing authorities, representatives from the Omnibus Owners' Federation, the Public Works Department, the Department of Internal Affairs and tho Railway Department.
