THE NEW PACIFIC MANAGER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. CRecd. 11.55 o.m ) LONDON. Jan. 4. The Pacific Cable Board met to-day. Nothing was done regarding the appointment oi Mr. Percy Hunter as Australian and New Zealand manager. The board is waiting to hear from him. A cablegram published on December 22 stated: "It is understood that the Commonwealth Government has approved of the appointment of Air. Percy Hunter, formerly Commonwealth Director of Immigration in London, to the position of manager in Australia and New Zealand for the Pacific Cable Board. The appointment probably will be ratified at the next meeting of the board."
