COLLIERY DISASTER.
EXPLOSION IN MEXICO. A HEAVY DEATH-ROLL. (Received 6.30 p.m.) A. and N.Z. EAGLEPA3S (Texas). Dec. 31. Forty-two bodies, many badly mangled, have been brought out of the Mexican N&tional Railway's coalmine at Palan, in the State of Coahulla, where an explosion occurred. Other dead are believed to be still in the mine.
