MURDER AND SUICIDE.
PRISONER WITH REVOLVER. TRAGIC END TO FRENCH CASE. (Received 9.5 p.m.) Renter. PARIS. Dec. 15. A prisoner who was being tried for embezzlement in a provincial Court drew a revolver and fired at the prosecutor, but killed the latter's counsel. The prisoner fired revolver shots around the room with further effect. He then swallowed a liquid from a bottle and threw himself from a window, falling two storeys. He was picked up dead.
