HAURAKI DEVELOPMENT.

DAIRY FARMERS PROSPERING. There is evidence in plenty that the 1925-26 dairying season will be one of the most successful and prosperous in the history of the Hauraki Plains. The pastures have nover looked better and tho dairy stock is looking particularly well. The truest indication that the Plains are becoming a highly-important dairying centre is found in the returns of the factories, all of which are working at high pressure to cope with the increased production. One factory is turning out 20 cheeses a day above last year's output and all the butter factories report a substantial advance. This is particularly the case over the portion of tho Plains between tho Waihou and Piako Rivers. The rainfall this season has been below the average.
