WEDDINGS.
A wftk'ing of much interest took place at the Synagogue, Princes Street, on Sunday evening, when Miss Doris Paykel, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Pay. kcl, ilaunsell Road, Parnell, was married to Br. M. George Pezaro, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Pezaro, of Remuera Road. Th» Rev. S. A. Goldstein officiated, assfeed by the Rev. S. N. Salas. The bude, who was given away by her father, wore a handsome frock of silver rose-em-tossed net over silver lame. The veil, vhich formed the train, was of white sulle, embroidered and ornamented with silver and orange blossoms, and finished with a large silver tassel. She carried a large sheaf of white flowers. The bridesmaids, who were frocked in pastel shades of georgette, and carried harmonising bouquets, were Miss Clara Paykel, sister of the bride, in mauve, Miss Dolly Pezaro, cousin of the bridegroom, in biscuit, Miss Joyce Paykel, niece of the bride, in China blue, and Miss Minnie Riffkin, in palest pink. Mr. Sam Pezaro, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The canopy was supported by Messrs. Horace and Victor Paykel, IL Liclit-enstein, and H. Rcrman.
