The Madrid correspondent o[ the Morning Post states that the Cervantes Committee at Toledo has elaborated a scheme to commemorate Don Quixote and Sancho Panza by a statue of the knight mounted on his horse Rosinanti, 170 ft. high, and otic of Sancho on foot. The figare of the latter will be 95ft. high. The group of statuary will take seven years to build and will cost over £1.000,C00. The committee expects Americans to subscribe. When the work is completed a railway will be run to Rosinanti's hoofs to facilitate the conveyance of the millions of pligrims who are expected to come to see the most remarkable memorial in the world.
