KRUPPS IN TROUBLE.
MANY WORKERS DISMISSED. ANNOUNCEMENT BY DIRECTORS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5,5 p.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 8. The directors of Krupps, in announcing the dismissal of many hundreds of workers without pensions, say that unless they are exceedingly careful the collapse of the whole undertaking is inevitable. But if trade improves the firm hopes to retain the 24,000 workers now employed.
