WEDDINGS.
At the Methodist Jubilee Church, Suva. Duncan, eldest son of Sir Maynard Hedstrom and Lady Hedstrom, was married to Rose, eldest daughter of Mr. R. Crompton, K.C., C.8.E., and Mrs. Crompton. Gold, the prevailing note, was heightened by the decorations of autumn leaves and yellow, while the bride wore a lovely gown of gold lace over cloth of silver, the flared overdress showing a spray of silver arum lilies and orange blossoms A long train of gold metallis lace was bordered by cloth of silver with a raised design of silver arum lilies and orange blossoms in one corner. She wore a wreath of gold net, held in place with orange blossoms, and carried a sheaf of a™" l lilies, tied with golden ribbon. lbe effect was further enhanced by the bridesmaids, who wore frocks m autumn tints, composed of layers of tulle, pale yellow to flame, over un^ er "" r ®fjf of gold, appliqued with French flowers, the collars showing an edging 0l j Their heads were veiled in tulle held by bandeaux of blue and gold flowers, and S carried tie**** delpluiuum*.
