MAJOR ASTOR'S RETURN.

WARM WELCOME AT DOVER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Heed. 7.5 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 7. Major the Hon. J. J. Astor. M P,, was enthusiastically welcomed by his constituents at Dover on his return from the Imperial Press Conference in Australia. There was a torchlight procession from the pier to the Town Hall. In acknowledging the tribute paid him, Major Astor mentioned that during the delegates' tour of 30,000 miles they touched at only two ports which were cot in the British Empire.
