RED CROSS WORKERS.

SIR F. AND LADY WEMYSS. VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. Visitors to Auckland by the Maunganui from Sydney yesterday were Sir Francis Colchester Wemyss and Lady Wemyss, prominent Red Cross workers, who are engaged On a world holiday tour. Sir Francis Wemyss received an early education at Eton and Sandhurst, and was gazetted to the Scottish Rifles, in which he held the post of captain. He was High Sheriff for the county of Gloucestershire in 1919-20. He is particularly interested in angling, and is a prominent member of the English Flv-Fishers f Club. Sir Francis and Lady Wemyss, who are at the Hotel Cargen, expect to leave tomorrow for Rotorua, where Sir Francis hopes to have some fly-fishing before proceeding to Christchurch at Christmas. He will attend the Christchurch croquet tournament while in the South, spending altogether about four months in the Dominion.
