MESSENGER TO MILLIONAIRE NEW YORK. Dec. 1. After beginning itis career as a messenger at 12s 6d a week, Mr. Jaco"b Field has retired worth millions. Ho is one of the most famous men on Wall Street, and when he sold his Exchange membership he received for it £30,000. Mr. Field's total operations on the New York Stock Exchange amounted to £20,000,000.
