TRAP FOR MOTORISTS.

DRIVING WITHOUT LICENSES. FIELD DAY AT TAURANGA. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA. Saturday. A trap was set this morning by the county clerk and police for motorists driving without licenses. During the day about 200 cars were stopped. Hghty drivers could not produce the necessary certificates and will have to present them within the specified time, otherwise legal action will be taken, ft is understood that a number will be brought before the court for not holding licenses. The cars stopped included vehicles from Christehurch, Timaru, Wellington, Palmer, ston North, Hastings, Napier, Gisborne, Auckland and Rotorua.
