SUCCESSFUL DAMAGES CLAIM [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Friday. The case brought in tho Hamilton Supreme Court before Air. Justice Herdman and a jury of 12, in which Thomas Neylon, well borer, of Futaruru (Mr. Strang and Mr. Hewitt.), sought to recover from Thomas Patrick Dowling, farmer, of Rotoraa (Mr. McMillan and Mr. Davis), the sum of £1023 damages for injuries received which he alleged were due to defendant's negligent driving of a motor-lorry, was concluded to-dav. After a retirement of several hours the jury returned a verdict for plaintiff for £55 Is special damages, and £2OO general damages. Judgment was entbred accordingly.
