LONDON BUTTER MARKET. NO CHANGE IN QUOTATIONS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 26 The butter market is quiet. Danish is quoted at 218s. Others are unchanged. Practically the whole of the. Cathay's cargo of Australian butter is badly oiltainted. Tho extent of the damage has not been ascertained, but the consignees state that they contemplate making heavy claims. Cheese is quiet. New Zealand is quotod at 112s to 114s. Last week's report, stated: The demand for butter is improving. New Zealand, choicest salted, is quoted at 206s to 208s ; unsalted at 208s to 210s. Australian, salted and unsalted, 194s to 1965; Danish, 2205. Danish is quiet. New arrivals of New Zealand cheese are quoted at 114s. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated November 26: Butter: Wo quote New Zealand, salted, at 2065; exceptional brands, 208s; Danish, 218s; finest, Australian, salted, 1955; unsalted, 1965. The market is barely steady. Cheese: The market is very quiet. New Zealand and Canadian, 112s to 114s; Canadian, c.i.f., 104s.
