In the matter of tho Local Bodies Loans Act. 1913, and regulations made thereunder, tho Body Coriwrato known as the Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants ol the County of Waitemata. hereby ves notice in terms of Sections 9 and 10 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, that the Waitemata County Council propose to enKane in the following undertaking, which they arc duly authorised to do by law, and, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of the Council, propose to raise a special loan lor the purpose. (a) Purchase of plant, land and buildings for public use in the Kumeu Riding of the County of Waitemata, the boundaries of which are legally defined as a legal subdivision. (b) The total amount to be borrowed is £ 1500, for a period of 30} years at a rate of interest not exceeding 5j per centum per annum, and provision for the repayment of the loan will be made by a Sinking Fund of at least 1 per centum per annum. (c) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme, for which the loan proposed to be raised, and also tile cost of raising the loan, but not the interest and sinking l'und for the first year of the loan. The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one-sixteenth of one penny in the pound upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the whole of the Kumeu Hiding of the County of Waitemata. The provision for the repayment of the loan is as hereinbefore stated. A Poll of Ratepayers of the Kumeu Riding will be taken on W EDNESDA Y, the 25th day of November, 1925, at the County Office. RESOLUTION. The One Tree Hill Road Board in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon it by "The Road Boards Act, 1905," "The Counties Act, 1920," "The Health Act, 1920," "The Public Works Act, 1903." "The Motor Regulations Act, 1908," and "The Motor Vehicles Act, 1924," and their several amendments, and of every other Act, power and authority enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following By-law:— (Here follows the By-law.) The object and purport of the proposed By-lav/ are as follows: Part I.—l. Repealing previous By-laws. 2. Interpretation. 3. Making provision for the issue of licenses, the imposition of penalties, and the division of the District into Inner and Outer Area. Part ll.—-1. Making provision for a minimum building area, and providing for the method of construction of buildings vvithia the District and the materials to be used in the construction of such buildings. 2. Providing for fees for permits in connection with construction of buildings. 3. Making special provision respecting theatres and places of public assemblage. 4. Part lII.—In respect of Streets—containing provisions in connection with the erection of verandahs and other structures over streets; the construction o'f drains under streets; the erection of hoardings, and the regulation of vehicles using the streets. Part IV.—l. Containing provisions in respect of Drainage and Plumbing; providing for the licensing of all drainers and plumbers and making provision for the standard of •work and quality of materials in connection with all drainage and plumbing work within the District. Providing for licenses for any drainage and plumbing work and for the fees payable in respect thereof. Part V.—Provisions for the good rule and Government of the District. Part Vl.—Making provisions for the controlling of billiard rooms, shooting galleries, etc. Part Vll.—Containing provisions regarding the supplying of water within the District; the method of such supply, and the charges to be made therefor. Part Vlll.—Containing provisions in relation to the licensing of milk vendors; the inspection of dairies and the sale of milk. Part IX.—Providing for thj regulation and inspection of Hotels, Restaurants, and other public Eating-houses. Part X.—Containing provision for securing the cleanliness and freedom from contamination of meat products. Part Xl.—Relating to the sale of food and its protection from contamination. Part Xll.—Containing provision respecting Hawkers and Pedlars and the licensing of the same. Part Xlll.—Providing licenses to be issued in respect of street stalls and tho license fees to be paid therefor. Part XlV.—Making provision for Taxi Stands in the District and the use thereof by taxi proprietors. Part XV.—Containing provisions relating to the issue of heavy traffic licenses. Part XVl.—Containing provisions in connection with lights on vehicles. Part XVll.—Providing for the dispensing of a full compliance with the provisions of the By-law in certain cases. A full ropy of this By-law is deposited at the Office of the One Tree Hill Road Board, Manukau Road, Auckland, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours, until the said 16th day of December. 1925.
