MINISTERS' FEES.

Sir, —While "An Elderly Relative" may be justified in feeling shocked at a clergyman asking for his fee at a wedding, he is unreasonable to suggest that people should stay away from church on account of such an exceptional occurrence. Perhaps the minister was very poor, or justifiably suspicious of promises to post the money. In any case Church fees are very small and rare, and no class of people has more calls on - its purse than clergymen have. A Vicae.
