RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE TAURANGA CLUB.

The Tauranga Rifle Club held two shoots on Saturday. One was the first shoot, for the Floyd championship belt. The leading scores were:—P. Gr. Mcintosh, 80: C. d. Kiddie, 78: W. ©ars-well, 62; T. Floyd, 61. In a handicap match the best scores were: —P. G. Mcintosh, 101; R. Phelps, 101: H. Hammond. 101; W. Kennedy, 89; W, Carawell, 96; C. J. Kiddie, 94; T. Floyd, 88. ' RESULTS AT WHANGAREI. [BY telegraph.-—own correspondent. ] WIIANGAREI, Monday. The week-end shoot by members of the Whangarei Eitlo Club was at the 200 and 300 yds. ranges. The best cards returned were:—E. Foot, 45. -10—86; Sla.de Clark, 42, 40 —82; J. Norris, <ll, '57—79; A. Austin, 41, BS--77; C, Baker, 38—74.
