AN AMAZING ROBBERY.
«©» THIEVES GET £20,000. UNDER COVER OF STORM. NEW YORK, Oct. 27. Amazingly active thieves stole jewellery worth £20,000 in the course of a 70-mile hurricane on Saturday night. Using an extension ladder, the robbers climbed to the roof of a two-storey building, then on to a five-storey structure adjoining, and, finally, two more storeys to the roof of a warehouse, where they broke the skylight and entered.
