OBITUARY.

MR. J. J. WHYTE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 8.25 p.m.) SYDNEY Nov. 6. The death has occurred of Mr. J, J. Whyte, of Glen Innes, New South Wales, a prominent figure in wool circles. In September of this year deceased was to have been married t-o Miss May C. Brown, of Christclmreh, known as "Sister Scatterjoy," who is now in Sydney. On the first day of her voyage to Sydney, Miss Brown received a wireless message informing her of the illness of Mr. Whyto, who was then in hospital and did not leave it up to the time of his death.
