DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES.
LONDON BUTTER MARKET. BUYERS STILL HOLDING OFF. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Nov. 5. The London butter market is very dull. Buyers are still holding off. New Zealand, choicest salted and unsalted, is quoted at from 210s to 2125. Australian, salted and unsalted, at 200s to 2045. Danish is quoted at 2165. Last week's report from London stated : —The butter market is still very quiet, but there are some signs of reviving interest. New Zealand, choicest salted, is quoted at 2145, and unsalted at 218s. Australian, salted and unsalted, at 2065. Danish was flat early in the week, but recovered on reports of better clearances, and is quoted at 2245. Cheese is firm and unchanged. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated November sßutter : The market is weak and very dull. We quote: New Zealand butter, salted, 210s: exceptional brands, 2125; Danish butter, 218s ; finest Australian, salted, 2025, unsalted 2025. Cheese: The market is quiet. Canadian, spot 118s, e.i.f. 113s.
