week-end weather, HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 48 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening;— Fine weather will rule over the week-end, with variablo breezes, south-easterly winds, moderate to strong, prevailing, and backing by east to north. Seas moderate. The Government meteorologist reported last evening that ('...• indications were for moderate to strong northerly to westerly winds in and southward of Cook Strait. Fair, mild and hazy weather could be expected generally, with cloudiness increasing for a change shortly, particularly in west coast and southern districts. The barometer had a falling tendency.
