YACHTING.
RICHMOND CRUISING CLUB. GENERAL HANDICAP RACE. The Richmond Cruising Club will hold a general handicap to-morrow afternoon, starting at 2.45 p.m. The course is from starting line between Ponsonby Wharf and tho Watchman Island, thence direct to Arkle's Bay, keeping outside Shelly Beach and Sandspit beacons, -finishing off the western point of Arkle's Bay. Should the weather be unfavourable the destination will be Islington Bay. the _ finishing line being off the Quarry Wharf in the bay. A black llag, flown from the Ponsonby Wharf, will denote Arkle's Bay, and a white flag Islington Bay. The officials in charge of the racing will be: Starter, Mr. F. Burke; timekeeper, Mr. D. Reid; judge, Mr. T. L. Thompson. The entries and handicaps are as follows: Arkle's Bay.—Marere, scr; Rakoa. lm; Rouen, 2Jm; Otira, 3im; Lovelight, sm; Mowai, sm; Wild Wave, 10m. Islington Bay.—Marere, scr; Rakoa, sni; Lovelight. Cm; Otira, Cm; Mowai, 10m; Rouen, 13m; Wild Wave, 20m. o
