FRENZIED TRADING.
BOOM ON WALL STREET. GREAT RISE IN STOCK VALUES. A. and N.Z. NEW YORK, Oct. 20. The frenzied trading on Wall Street continues unabated. A total of 2,823,400 shares changed hands to-day. Observers profess ignorance of the real cause of the boom or of the identity of the takers of tremendous profits. It is pointed out. that General Motors, Limited, alone has increased its stock market value by over 160,000,000 dollars in the past three weeks. Many other companies have, increased their share values proportionately.
