TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST.
The following -weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening:—Fine weather "will predominate in most places, although unsettled at times, with scattered rain, especially in east coast districts. Warm and humid conditions, and misty in coastal areas. Winds variable, northerly to north-easterlies, moderate to strong prevailing. Seas moderate. Barometer, midnight, 30.125 in. 5 steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT, The Government meteorologist reported last evening that the indications were for variable winds, but moderate to strong north-westerlies to south-wester-lies prevailing. Changeable and squally weather, with rain • probable in many parts, could be expected.
