AMUNDSEN PREPARING. MR. ELLSWORTH'S CO-OPERATION Iteutor. OSLO, Oct. 13. A party of workmen has gone to Svalbard (formerly Spitsbergen) to erect" a hangar for Captain Roald Amundsen's expedition to the North Pole next year. Arrangements the expedition have now been settled. It will cost 1,500,(XX) kroner. Of that sum Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth, the American partner of Captain Amundsen in his last Polar flight, has contributed 100,000 dollars, on condition that the expedition be called the Amund-sen-Ellsworth expedition, that it be under the Norwegian flag, and that Mr. Ellsworth be the sole American aboard the airship.
