ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.
CONTROLLER OF REICHSBANK DISCOVERY AFTER RETIREMENT. (Received 9.5 p.m.) Renter. BERLIN, Oct. 14. The former chief controller of the Reichsbank, who was retired on a pension on October 1, has been arrested in connection with the alleged embezzlement of 600,000 marks from the Charlottenburg branch of the bank. Accused is believed to have had a number of accomplices and to have disguised his alleged frauds for a long time by means of false entries in. the books.
