The Westport 'Coal Company's steamer Canopus sailed from Westport yesterday morning with coal for Auckland. She i 3 due on Friday. With cargo from South Island ports and Wellington, the Wingatui left Picton for Auckland at II p.m. on Monday. She is due to-morrow. The Wanaka will be removed this afternoon to Queen's Wharf to load transhipments from the Aorangi for Sonuthem ports. It is doubtful whether the Wanaka will be loaded in time to sail to-night for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Oiircaru and Timaru. Tt IRRAL CLEARED PANAMA. With cargo for New Zealand ports, the Canadian Challenger flailed from Montreal on September 27. ,Sho cleared Colon on Saturday and should reach Auckland about November 7. • The Canadian Challenger will be followed from Montreal by the Canadian' Explorer, which is scheduled to sail for New Zealand on October 25.

After an absence of nearly throe months the Maunganui returned to Auckland at mid-day yesterday from Sydney. After unloading over 3000 tons of cargo from Canada at Queen's Wharf, the Royal Mail liner Aorangi will leave at 4 o clock this afternoon for Sydney, where she will arrive on Saturday. The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Rona will arrive from Fiji at 8 o'clock this morning, according to her wireless After medical inspection she will bertn at Chelsea to discharge raw sugar. ULTMAROA AT SYDNEY. The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa arrived at Sydney from Auckland last evening. She will leave Sydney on Friday for Wellington. OOMA FROM NAURU ISLAND. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlano advise that the steamer Ooma is due at r. lyniouth from Nauru Island about JNovember 6 to unload 3000 tons of phosphates Ihe remainder of her cargo, 3250- tons, will tie discharged at Auckland. WAIOTAPU SAILS TO MORROW. The Union Company's Trans-Pacific steai mer Waiotapu is scheduled to sail at a p!rn. to-morrow for Wellington Meloourno and Sydney in continuation of her \oya„e from Pacific Coast ports. FLORA CLEARED WELLINGTON. In continuation of her voyage, from Eastern Pacific island ports the Flora cleared Wellington at 8 p.m. on Monday for Auckland. She will arrive to-morrow. After completing discharge of fruit she will _be laid up at Auckland for an indefinite period. CANADIAN PROSPECTOR. The Canadian Prospector was expected to arrive early this morning from Montreal. This morning she will berth at Prince's Wharf to unload general merchandise. She will complete discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin.
