Samples of rice, sugar, cotton, copra and other products will also be shown, while a line selection of photographs will advertise the natural] beauties f>!' the country. If possible, arrangements will be made for shipments of fresh fruit to be placed on sale every month. There will be a pub- < licity booth in connection with the court, where literature will be procurable. The court attendants will he four Fijians and two Gilbert and Eliiee Islanders, who will wear the native costume. Every morning at 11 o'clock they will beat the big Fijian war-drum to summon visitors lo watch the preparation of the native beverage, yanquona—better known as kava —which the visitors will be invited to sample. In the evenings the court attendants will sing their native- ! songs, and as all have beautiful voices, this should prove a great attraction. _ The Fijians are being accommodated at the Y.M.C.A. during jjjheir stay in Auckland. The party is under the care of the Fijian Court Commissioner, Mr. R. Boyd, and will leave for Wellington either this . evening or to-narrow.
