ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROW'S ATTRACTIONS. FIRST ROUND OF FALCON CUP. NAMES OF CHOSEN PLAYERS. The Auckland Football Association will play the first round of the annual Falcon Cup knock-out competition for senior clubs to-morrow. Great interest is being shown in the initial game*. At Blandford Park Ponsonby will meet Ncrthcote at 2 o'clock, and at 3 o'clock Tramways will play Hellaby's. On the same ground at 1 p.m. a representative schools match will be played between Auckland and Waikato A teams. North Shore, and Royal Navy will try conclusions on the Devonport Domain, while Thistle are down to meet Y.M.C.A. at the Outer Domain, where a curtain-raiser is to be provided by the B teams of tho Auckland and Waikato schools. The following officials have been appointed to control the school representative games:— A teams: Referee, Mr. R. Beawick; linesmen, Messrs. R. P. Hodge and F, C. Davis, B teams: Referee, Mr. T. Harding; linesman, Mr. G-. Allen.
