CONCERT AT NEW LYNN.

FUNDS FORfSPORTS GROUND

The New Lynn District Community Guild held a most successful concert and dance in St. Thomas' Hall this week. The chief attraction was the programme given by the Auckland Waterside Workers' Band, which gave its services free to assist the guild in its object of providing a sporte ground for the district. Several vocal items were contributed and the hall was later cleared for dancing. The receipts from the concert go to the sports ground fund
